Elite Ranking is based on accruing points according to final placing, using each athlete’s best three results across the season. World Archery will produce an elite Indoor World Series ranking list from the positional points accumulated based on the final ranking achieved at each stage. The top participants in each category (Recurve Men, Recurve Women, Compound Men and Compound Women) of the elite ranking after the last event of the Indoor Archery World Series will receive prize money from World Archery.
Any athlete wishing to obtain elite ranking points in the Indoor Archery World Series must register in the Compound Open Championship, Compound Women Championship, Recurve Men Championship or Recurve Women Championship divisions of The Vegas Shoot.
Youth Ranking is based on accruing points according to final placing, using each athlete’s best three results across the season in an under-21 event. World Archery will produce an elite Indoor World Series ranking list from the positional points accumulated based on the final ranking achieved at each stage. The top participants in each category (U21 Recurve Men, U21 Recurve Women, U21 Compound Men and U21 Compound Women) of the youth ranking after the last event of the Indoor Archery World Series will receive prize money from World Archery.
For The Vegas Shoot, all under-21 athletes already ranked in the Indoor World Series youth ranking because they have participated in other events will be included in a separate youth ranking, based on their birthdate, solely for the purpose of assigning youth ranking points and applicable whether the athlete registers in championships adult or young adult category. Indoor World Series youth ranking points will be allocated based on that separate ranking. That separate ranking will not award any additional prizes at the Vegas event.
