First Two 900-Club Members Are Under The Age of 18

The Vegas Shoot is always full of surprises, and this year, as strange as it was, did not disappoint. The first two 900-Club members for 2021 both happen to be under the age of 18.

History was made today with 13-Year-Old Likko Arreola, from Makawao, Hawaii, claiming her spot in the 2021 900-Club, as only the 7th female to have ever earned their way in, but even more impressive is the fact, that she is the youngest person ever to have shot a perfect 900 at the Vegas Shoot, in the Championship Division.

Not only did she shoot a perfect 900, but she also beat out some of the best female archers in the world to claim the top spot on the podium in the Women's Compound Championship Division.

Liko is no stranger to perfection, earlier this year, she walked away with a perfect 900 in the Compound Youth Female Division at the Rushmore Rumble held in Yankton in February.

Knowing that she battled her way to the top of the podium Liko shared. "I feel more confident in myself and I'm really happy."

The second spot in the 2021 900-Club was claimed by 17-year-old Sawyer Sullivan. Sawyer shot a perfect 900, and also earned a 1st place finish in the Compound Young Adult Division, beating out Jacob Weber (2nd place), and Dalan Hazelbush (3rd place).

Knowing that he and Liko are both the first to be added to the 900-Club this year Sawyer told us that it "Just feels awesome, it's a dream come true, and it feels amazing."

Sawyer can't wait for things to get back to normal next year, "I'm excited to have the crowd and the arena next year, that will be fun and a much different feel."

Even though the field of competitors was a bit different this year, with only 13 competing in the division, he told us, "It's not really any different, Vegas is Vegas to me, so it was like, the pressure is the same."
