Defending Vegas champ Bodie Turner won the $10k Championship shoot-off on Day 2 of the 2026 Vegas Shoot.
“I was just telling people I just wanna win this once in like 20 years. Now I’ve won it once. I’m good for 20 years I guess,” said Turner. “What am I going to do with it? Invest it.”
Today's competition took seven ends of shooting to get a winner. After three ends, the field of 95 archers was down to three: Turner, Curtis Broadnax and Robin Jaatma. All three missed the inside-out on the next end, then all three made the shot in the fifth end, before Broadnax missed in the sixth and Jaatma missed in the seventh.
Notably, Turner changed to 'skinny' arrows after the first end, which can give an advantage to inside-out scoring. (Mathias Fullerton did the same in the Championship shootdown in 2025, and other archers have also switched arrows in the $10k shoot-off and the Lucky Dog).

The prize is available to all archers in Championship categories who opt-in and shoot a 300 on any of the three days of Championship competition. (Not every archer who shoots a 300 opts in to the daily shoot-off). The first arrow must be a standard X, but any subsequent arrows have to be inside out. The Vegas Shoot concludes tomorrow with the final qualification rounds in both Championship and flights divisions.
