Archery is at its best when it’s shared. That’s why the National Field Archery Association Foundation is proud to introduce Grow the Line, a mentorship program designed to strengthen the archery community by pairing seasoned Vegas Shoot participants with first-time attendees. Launching at The Vegas Shoot 2026, Grow the Line is more than just a discount program. It’s a pathway to connection, learning, and growth.

What is Grow the Line?

Grow the Line pairs mentors—experienced Vegas Shoot participants—with rookies—archers attending the event for the first time. The program is designed to make the world’s largest indoor archery tournament feel more welcoming, especially for those who may be stepping onto the line for the very first time.

Mentors share their knowledge, tips, and excitement while helping their rookies navigate the event. In return, both mentor and rookie benefit from exclusive perks, discounts, and a one-of-a-kind shared experience.

Program Benefits

  • Discounted Registration: Both mentors and rookies save $75 off registration. Mentors can save even more by bringing multiple rookies (up to $155 in total discounts).

  • Exclusive Celebration Event: All program participants are invited to a special Grow the Line gathering at The Vegas Shoot 2026.

  • Limited-Edition Swag: Unique items to recognize and celebrate your participation.

  • Peer-to-Peer Support: Mentors provide encouragement and guidance before, during, and after the event.

  • Learn More!

Looking Ahead: Expanding Grow the Line

While The Vegas Shoot 2026 is the program’s first major stage, our goal is to expand Grow the Line across more NFAA events nationwide. Future opportunities may include:

  • Mentorship programs at Indoor and Outdoor Nationals.

  • “Bring a Friend” challenges at local clubs and sectionals.

  • Year-round mentoring connections, both in-person and online, to help archers of all ages stay engaged.

Grow the Line is about more than one event. It’s about building a culture where experienced archers guide, encourage, and inspire the next generation. By expanding this program, we’re ensuring that more newcomers feel confident joining the sport and more veterans find ways to give back to the community.

The Grow the Line mentorship program is such a fantastic initiative for nurturing archery's next generation! Mentorship creates lasting impact in any sport. While celebrating this commitment to development, I'm reminded how platforms like Sprunki also help newcomers — their free online games provide accessible starting points for building skills in a supportive environment. Great to see growth being prioritized!

This mentorship program sounds amazing! Just like in the classic snake game, where every new segment makes your path longer and more rewarding, Grow the Line helps archers grow step by step with guidance from experienced mentors.

That sounds like a fantastic initiative! Archery truly thrives when experienced participants guide newcomers, and the Grow the Line program embodies that spirit of mentorship and growth. By fostering connection and knowledge-sharing, it ensures that first-time attendees feel supported while learning from seasoned athletes. Just like students often seek assignment help services to gain confidence and improve their skills, this program empowers archers to grow through collaboration and guidance.

Will mentors and rookies be matched based on factors such as shooting style, Buckshot Roulette age group, or competition division, or is it a more general pairing?
