Registration is now live for The Vegas Shoot 2025, and this year promises some exciting changes that you won’t want to miss! As many of you have already heard, we’re making a major move to the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, and this shift brings a lot of new possibilities to the event. Let’s dive into what’s new for 2025!
New Venue
In 2025, we’re moving to Caesar's Properties—including Paris Las Vegas, Horseshoe Las Vegas, and Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. This prime location puts you right in the middle of the action, with easy access to world-class dining, entertainment, and everything else the Strip has to offer. It’s more than just a shooting event; it’s a full Vegas experience!
Championship Divisions
For 2025, the Championship divisions will undergo some key changes. Competitions will now run from Thursday to Saturday, with official practice taking place on Wednesday. This shift allows us to host the Indoor World Series Finals in conjunction with the Championship Shoot-Off on Sunday, March 9 at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. Championship divisions will be shooting at Horseshoe Las Vegas throughout the competition.
Junior Divisions
We are thrilled to announce that the junior divisions will also see some exciting updates in 2025. After receiving feedback over the years, we’re adding two additional shooting styles—Bowhunter and Recurve Barebow—for the Cub, Youth, and Young Adult divisions on a trial basis. This gives junior archers in two fast-growing disciplines the chance to compete for scholarships alongside existing Compound and Recurve divisions.
The junior divisions will compete at Horseshoe Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday, with a special Junior Appreciation Party and Awards Ceremony on Saturday evening. Keep an eye on this division as we look to expand to a three-day format in 2026.
Collegiate Divisions
For collegiate archers, 2025 brings some fantastic updates. First, we’ve reduced the entry fee to $25 (down from $50) and increased scholarship amounts. To participate, collegiate archers will need a valid NFAA Collegiate Membership (available for $35).
The collegiate competition will take place over the first two days of The Vegas Shoot, with scores determining the collegiate winners. Divisions will include Male and Female competitors across Compound, Recurve, Bowhunter, and Recurve Barebow. The top three student-athletes in each division will receive scholarships of $750, $500, and $300 respectively. Schools will also be ranked based on a cumulative team score, with the top three schools receiving additional team scholarships.
Flight Divisions
The Flight divisions remain unchanged in format, except for the removal of the Crossbow divisions. These divisions will compete in the expansive ballrooms of Paris Las Vegas. This part of the event has long been a staple of The Vegas Shoot, and we’re excited to continue hosting it at this new, central location.
Opening Party
We’re also excited to announce a brand-new Opening Party to kick off The Vegas Shoot 2025! This event will feature some exciting opportunities for you to shoot with some of your favorite archers. Stay tuned for more details—we promise you won’t want to miss this one!
World-Famous Trade Show
No Vegas Shoot is complete without the world-famous trade show! This year, it will take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and will feature nearly 100 of the world’s top archery manufacturers and retailers. It’s the perfect place to discover new gear, meet industry professionals, and connect with the archery community.
