Excitement is building as we approach The Vegas Shoot 2025, set to be hosted for the first time at the Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas (March 5-9, 2025).
With this major change in venues, you'll be staying right in the heart of the Strip, with easy access to all the exciting options it offers! Whether you’re looking for world-class dining, thrilling entertainment, or simply a stroll down the bustling streets, you’ll find it all just steps away.
Many of our attendees are wondering which hotel to choose from our hotel block options. Here's a detailed guide to help you make an informed decision and ensure you enjoy your stay!
1. Horseshoe Las Vegas
Proximity and Events: Horseshoe Las Vegas is not just close to the action; it’s at the heart of it. This hotel will host the world-famous trade show, featuring over 100 of the industry's top manufacturers and retailers. This is the largest consumer trade show of the year, with vendors from around the globe. The elusive Championship divisions, where top archers from around the world compete for massive cash prizes, including the $59,000 top prize in Championship Compound, will also take place here. If space allows, the Junior class divisions (17 and under) will also shoot at the Horseshoe. These divisions are some of the fastest-growing, with young archers competing for prestigious scholarships.
The Horseshoe boasts two large shooting halls – The Grand Ballroom and the Event Center, which will be used for both the trade show and shooting areas. Plus, the halls are just steps away from the main hotel elevator lobby, making it extremely convenient to move between your room and the event. In our opinion, the Horseshoe reminds us a lot of South Point, for those feeling a little homesick for our past location.
Dining and Attractions: The Horseshoe has a variety of dining options to cater to different tastes. The property features 8 restaurants in total, with a mix of casual and upscale dining experiences. Popular spots include Jack Binion's Steak, offering premium steaks and seafood, and Red Plate, known for its authentic Chinese cuisine. For entertainment, guests can enjoy live shows and the vibrant casino floor. Nearby attractions include the LINQ Promenade, featuring the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, and Fly LINQ, a thrilling zipline experience.
2. Paris Las Vegas
Proximity and Events: Paris Las Vegas will be home to the Flight divisions, held in the vast and versatile Paris Ballroom. Conveniently connected to the Horseshoe, archers can easily travel between the two properties. Paris Las Vegas was built as a sister property to Bally's (now Horseshoe). The two resorts are so close that, up until 1999, they shared operations, including a single gaming license and hotel reservation system. The Paris Ballroom and additional competition areas are just steps away from the main hotel elevator lobby, making it easy to navigate between your room and the competition halls.
Dining and Attractions: Stay at Paris Las Vegas and enjoy an authentic Parisian atmosphere! Exact replicas of the Eiffel Tower and elegant décor will make you swear you are walking down a Parisian street. Paris Las Vegas brings a touch of elegance to the Strip with 14 dining options. Enjoy dining at Gordon Ramsay Steak, savoring exquisite French cuisine at Mon Ami Gabi, or indulging in sweet treats at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. The Eiffel Tower offers panoramic views of Las Vegas, and a beautiful rooftop pool. Entertainment options include "Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck," providing spectacular views of the Strip, and the "Le Cabaret" lounge, offering live music and a vibrant atmosphere.
3. Planet Hollywood Las Vegas
Proximity and Events: If you are looking for a trendy atmosphere, neighboring property Planet Hollywood is a convenient option (3 minute walk). Enjoy shopping at The Miracle Mile Shops and its bustling nightlife. It will host the Finals at the PH Live Theater, making it an exciting choice for those wanting to be close to this highlight event.
Dining and Attractions: Planet Hollywood is known for its Hollywood-themed ambiance. Indulge in one of the 14 diverse restaurants, including celebrity-chef establishments like Gordon Ramsay Burger, savor Japanese cuisine at Koi, or enjoy the lively atmosphere at Cabo Wabo Cantina. The hotel also features the Miracle Mile Shops, offering an extensive selection of shopping and entertainment options. Guests can enjoy live shows such as 'V – The Ultimate Variety Show,' featuring a mix of comedy, magic, and acrobatics, and 'Zombie Burlesque,' a unique and entertaining adult-themed show.
4. Flamingo Las Vegas
Proximity and Events: The Flamingo is a short 5-minute walk from the event venues, making it a convenient and budget-friendly option for price-conscious attendees.
Dining and Attractions: The Flamingo offers a classic Vegas experience with tropical-themed decor. Dine at the renowned Margaritaville, enjoy a variety of cuisines at Paradise Garden Buffet, or relax at the Beach Club Pool. The hotel also features a Wildlife Habitat, home to exotic birds and fish, providing a serene escape from the bustling Strip. Guests can also enjoy live shows such as the "Legends in Concert," a tribute show featuring performances by celebrity impersonators, and the "Piff the Magic Dragon" show, combining comedy and magic.
Additional Tips for Your Stay
Bow Case and Storage: When traveling between hotel properties, attendees should use bow cases. Both the Horseshoe and Paris will provide bow storage areas, allowing archers to travel easily with their equipment between storage, practice, and competition areas. We are continuing to work closely with property management and security to create a final plan for equipment handling through the event. Let's all do our best to respect any guidelines set forth by the hotels to ensure that archery is always welcome in Las Vegas.
Please note that all shooting locations and assignments may change based on registration numbers and available space. Moving between the Horseshoe and Paris is quick and easy, ensuring you have convenient access to the event regardless of the property you choose.
