As The Vegas Shoot celebrates its 60th anniversary, the Championship Shoot Off is evolving to meet the level of today’s elite archers.

We are excited to introduce not just one, but two new shoot off target faces for 2026. As archers continue to improve, it was clear that the shoot off needed to evolve to increase the challenge and raise the stakes.
The traditional Vegas face features a 2 cm X ring. For the 2026 Championship Shoot Offs, the competition will progressively move through three levels of precision:
2 cm X ring
1.5 cm X ring (New! for 2026)
1 cm X ring (New! for 2026)
The shoot off will begin on the standard 2 cm X ring and advance to the smaller X ring targets as the field narrows. This progressive format increases the level of difficulty as the competition intensifies, creating a true test of precision to determine the champion.
The exact number of ends at each stage will be announced prior to the Championship Shoot Off on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at PH Live Theatre at Planet Hollywood.
This format also enhances the spectator experience, allowing fans to watch the difficulty increase in real time as the world’s best archers compete for the title.
Limited quantities of the new target faces will be available at the NFAA Indoor National Championship in Memphis, Tennessee, March 6 to 8, and at The Vegas Shoot in Las Vegas.
Throughout its history, The Vegas Shoot has continued to evolve alongside the sport. These new progressive targets reflect that commitment and introduce a new level of precision for the Championship Shoot Off in 2026.
Please note: This is for Championship division ties for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ONLY after 3 days of competition. New targets will only be used in the Championship Shoot Offs.
