The next edition of The Vegas Shoot will take place in the world-renowned Horseshoe and Paris complex on March 5-9, 2025. Located on the Las Vegas Strip, this venue offers over 315,000 square feet of event space and thousands of hotel rooms.
This move will build upon the positive aspects of the South Point while adding some improvements: more event space for competition and vendors, a stunning setting for finals, a larger quantity of hotel rooms next to the tournament, a greater variety of restaurants, more accessible facilities, an improved location to enjoy Vegas's main street and more.
Main competition rounds will take place in two connected properties managed by Caesar’s Entertainment - the Horseshoe and the Paris. Finals matches and Championship Shootoffs will take place in the PH Live Theater at Planet Hollywood. This venue, home to performers like Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, boasts seating capacity for 7000 spectators.
“The PH Live Theater will allow us to have a separate venue for our world-famous Shootoff, and give us the opportunity to host finals like never before,” said Vegas Shoot President Bruce Cull. “It is pretty cool that we will get the opportunity to literally put archery on a main stage.”
Participants can book rooms in one of four hotels connected to the competition space. The Horseshoe and Paris offer a combined 5,700 rooms above the main competition space. Additional room blocks will be available at the nearby Planet Hollywood and Flamingo hotels. These properties combine to offer 30-plus restaurants onsite.
The decision to change venues was based on the competition’s increasing number of participants. Nearly 4,500 archers competed at this year’s tournament, and a competition venue of the Horseshoe/Paris will accommodate even more growth next year.
The Vegas Shoot was first hosted at the Sahara Hotel, then moved to the Las Vegas Convention Center in 1966. The tournament stayed there until 1980, changing host hotels every few years. It was held at the Tropicana for eleven years, from 1981-1992, and then the Sands Expo Center from 1993-2000. After ten years at the Riviera Hotel and Casino, the tournament moved to the South Point Hotel and Casino, where it has been for the past thirteen years.
The next edition of the Vegas Shoot will take place March 5-9, 2025. More details about the new location, as well as information on hotel room blocks, will open soon.
